New Managing Customers Tutorial Has Been Added
A new addition to the Principles of Marketing tutorial has now been posted. This new section, called Managing Customers, is inserted right after the first section and raises the total number of sections in the Principles of Marketing tutorial from 22 to 23.
As the title suggests, this tutorial is all about the customer. Highlighted topics include:
- Definition of a customer including a customer categorization scheme
- Reasons why customers are important to the entire organization
- Discussion of the need to follow a customer relationship management strategy
- Extended coverage of customer service including emerging technologies used in customer service
As noted earlier, to complete the Principles of Marketing tutorial I will be revising Part 3: Marketing Research. I am hesitant to provide a timetable on this (I was way off when I predicted the Managing Customers tutorial would be ready in July!) but I’m hoping it won’t take very long.
I’ll have more to say about the Principles of Marketing tutorial in the near future as a number of behind the scenes developments are occurring.
