KnowThis.com’s Marketing Stories Archive Climbs to 2,500
The posting of 26 stories to last week’s Marketing Stories brings the total to over 2,500 in our database. Marketing Stories is the name we give to articles, news reports, research reports, slide shows, audio and video postings, and other materials that offer marketing and marketing-related information.
As we noted when we reached the 2,000 stories milestone last year, the stories we include are carefully selected and we strive to locate those that are relevant, provide good insight, and, in most cases, are freely accessible. As with all material found on KnowThis.com, offering quality information is our goal. We don’t look to add just any marketing story. We carefully screen and choose from the hundreds that appear each week. Some weeks, like last week, there are many good stories and other weeks the selection is much smaller.
Visitors to KnowThis.com can find information on all stories listed by Topic Area in our Marketing Stories Archive. This information includes links to the story and the source, and, many times, a short comment on what the story covers is provided. BUT BE AWARE while our collection contains over 2,500 stories many links no longer work as a few publishers often remove the story from free access after some period of time. However, this seems to be changing as publishers now see they can gain revenue by providing access to older content.
For anyone who is looking for marketing stories as part of doing research the information we provide should be enough to track down a story whether it is freely accessible or not. We offer ideas on how to locate no longer accessible stories here .
Even though many stories are no longer freely accessible, the vast majority of stories found in our database are freely available! So our Marketing Stories database should prove to be a good resource for professionals, students, teachers and anyone else who wants to keep abreast of the world of marketing.
If you are new to KnowThis.com, you can receive a weekly summary of all stories that are posted via our RSS feed.
