- AllExperts *This free service that allows visitors to pose new questions to supposed experts in many different fields including some in specific industries. Can also search through the database for previously answered questions. This service tends to be more consumer-oriented (i.e., non-business questions) than other services.
- Authors and Experts *Provides an online searchable resource for members of the media or for event coordinators looking for topical experts, authors, and speakers. If you fall into the category of expert, author or speaker you can sign up to be listed.
- National Speakers Association *While most resources on this trade industry site are aimed at its members (speakers), the site does offer an extensive search feature for finding expert speakers including the option to search by field of expertise, which includes many marketing areas.
- ProfNet *Operated by PR Newswire, this site is where many reporters go to locate industry experts. PR professionals can post information in the searchable database though there is a yearly fee to remain in the database. PR Newswire also has a separate Experts section available that could be useful in finding speakers.
- Speakers Platform *Offers a large, searchable database of mostly keynote speakers with several filtering options including searching by field of expertise, speaker fee and geographic area.
- Yearbook of Experts *This site is mostly directed at journalists looking for experts. Search function is limited.
