Provides financial and other data on a large number of companies across many industries.

Provides fairly affordable market reports for a large number of industries in many geographic regions. Though these reports are brief and do not provide in-depth coverage they may be useful for researchers looking for access to quick market statistics.
23 Special Issues
This site has an interesting business model, provide information related to special issues of trade and business publications. In general, a special issue of a publication is one that provides "themed" coverage of an industry (e.g., new products, market trends) and is often produced on a regular basis. Accessing the full list of publications on this site is expensive and at best only links are provided to articles (no full text) and in some cases users must figure out other ways to view articles.
24 Standard and Poor's Industry Surveys
Classic publication long a fixture in university libraries, these highly detailed reports provide excellent insight into an industry. Downside though is that these are very expensive (though slices of the report can be purchased) and reports are available for only the 50 largest industries.
25 Statistical Reference Index
The SRI, available mostly at large university libraries, examines major magazines and journals looking for mentions of statistical information. While its strength is not in market statistics (it is better identifying demographic information) there is still good information to be found.

Another product of Gale, this reference publication presents industry, company, and product information in the form of tables. Covers more than 90 industries worldwide. Like similar reference products, access to this one is best obtained via a university library.
27 The Infoshop
This site is a supplier of high-end market reports that have a strong leaning toward Asian markets. While expensive, many samples of reports can be had for free (with registration).
28 World Advertising Research Center
UK-based group with a fee site where subscribers can access internationally produced articles, research studies, case studies and other materials that focus mostly on advertising and promotion issues.
29 Yahoo Finance Stock Research Center
This section Yahoo Finance is targeted to investors and allows for the purchase of research reports. Users can search for reports either by entering a company's stock symbol or navigating to a company by using the Sector/Industry Analysis option. Users will also need a Yahoo account to make the purchase.
30 ZoomInfo
This site features a search engine that allows for locating background information on thousands of people who have been mentioned on the web, through news media reports and other sources. Could be quite useful for employee hiring, sales prospecting or business partnership development.
