Those involved in marketing teaching and training, whether on the academic or professional side, serve a key role in marketing. In this tutorial we will examine the impact of marketing education. We will look at how marketing education has evolved from its early roots in economics to its standing today as a leading business discipline.
The coverage is directed at both teachers and students and will include such issues as:
- ideas and resources for teaching a marketing course
- information on conducting academic research including research funding and information on marketing journals and other publications
- information for students such as student competitions and locating student marketing internships
